The friendly reception we received on arrival lasted throughout our stay. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. The room was lovely and comfortable and the shower was fabulous! Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the price for our stay was so reasonable. I will definately stay again!

The location is perfect for exploring the area by car but also within an easy walk to town. The staff were very helpful, the accomodations were very clean, quite and comfortable. Without hesitation I would recommend Woodlawn House.

"SUPERB ACCOMMODATION RUN BY WONDERFUL PEOPLE."
We were visiting Ireland for the first time and didn't want to stay in an hotel as they are so impersonal, and the only way to get to know the people is to mix with them, we were not disappointed, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and special by the owner Ciara her sister Cliona and father, nothing was too much trouble, they booked our trips for us and reserved a table at a great restaurant. The breakfast is a mighty experience with plenty of choices from the "starters" to be followed by the choice of anything from a boiled egg to the iconic "full Irish"
The room and bed were very comfortable and everything including the en-suite bathroom scrupulously clean. If your ever going to Ireland to see the breathtaking scenery you will love staying at this wonderful guesthouse, which is in actual fact like a small hotel but much more personal, run by special people who deserve all the success they undoubtably will achieve.
We will be making a point of returning to Ireland and the first priority will be to book into the Woodlawn.

"In our weeks of travel, of the many B&B's, this was by far the BEST."
I found this B&B on line (B&B Network) and to tell you the truth with our experiences with photos matching the real thing, we kept our expectations fairly low. We were relieved and delighted to pull up to a beautifully manicured front yard. Even better than the pictures! And it just got better from there. The rooms were immaculate and spacious, tastefully decorated. A couple in our group had a large window that overlooked the mountains of Killarney National Park. Location is off a quiet street. Delicious breakfast in a spacious dining room. Fabulous hospitality, very warm and friendly...felt like home. Our only disappointment we were only able to stay one night! Thanks for a great visit to Killarney!
"We couldn't have wished for a better place to stay!"
After doing some research on the internet I chose Woodlawn House to take my parents for a week's break at the beginning of September - we certainly weren't disappointed. This guesthouse is far better than many hotels I have stayed in - the rooms were very large and spacious (even my single room which was a good size double) and my parent's room had an enormous bathroom. There was a large choice of menu for breakfast - all equally well presented and well cooked (yes, we tried the full Irish, the porridge (with apricots and honey), the pancakes, the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - all delicious!), but what made our stay particularly memorable was the lovely host Ciara and her sister. They were both so welcoming and friendly and Ciara was always so helpful when we came to planning our day over the breakfast table. I would highly recommend Woodlawn House to anyone. It is positioned just an ideal 10 minute walk from Killarney town - a great place for something to eat (we really liked Macs on the main street), to wander around the many shops which stayed open until late and we also enjoyed the live Irish music coming from so many of the bars around the town. We spent the week touring the area - the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle, the Gap of Dunloe (a must in a jaunting car), Muckross House - and much more. This was the first time I had spent a week in Ireland and I must say the friendly people, the fantastic scenery , the great food and superb accommodation means I will hope to be back before too long.
